Castle on the Loch

$90.00

The swift song of depths lapping upon the rocky shore
A breeze carrying the scent of Bog Myrtle from down below
Rustling the papers that carry my loving thoughts to far away lands
Memories live in the walls, the spirit of the land as marks upon the stone
A time lost, a time remembered, a time treasured

Have you every thought about the memories that live in the walls of ancient buildings? The many lives that have passed through the halls, the people of different times, different backgrounds, different ways of life that have touched and shaped the structures into what we know them to be today. The walls may crumble, the towers fall, the land takes over, however the memories still live and thrive to carry messages of hope and peace to generations far beyond even our own lives.
This piece represents the memories we all cherish, we guard them in the castle of our hearts to be passed on to the hearts of others.
